About Society

Education is a powerful tool for individual and social development. The role of education has become a multifarious activity these days. In view of the above, every student has to learn how to present and manage themselves and their surroundings, apart from learning core and applied subjects. To instill the interest in students to pursue higher educaiton and also to mould them as per the needs of the industry so as to have an edge over the others in the job market, a group of Doctorates from Kakatiya University formed a society named as "SADHANA EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY" and established New Science Degree and PG College in the year 1994. the title "New Science" has been chosen to promote scientific temper among undergraduate students. Since its inception, it has been our endeavor to shape the college into one of the best institutions in Telangana state by inculcating sense of moral values and humanism, without which a degree of any sort will become meaningless.

The young doctorates were well supported by eminent persons of the society from different fields and helped the institution to grow many folds within a short span of time.

The promoters of the society include ten members. The main aim of the society is to offer higher education of high quality and noble values to the students of backward region of Telangana and help in the upliftment of society. As a maiden effort, the society started New Science Degree & P.G College (affiliated to K.U) in Hanamkonda in 1994 with 270 students. The firm commitment of management and dedicated efforts of faculty started attracting many students to join in courses offered by New Science Degree & P.G College year after year. The college has grown in leaps and bounds in recent times and today, it is one of the most sought after colleges in the region.

With the encouragement received by the success of Degree College, we established New Science PG College, in 1999 with two courses – M.Sc (Computer Science) and M.Sc (Chemistry).

New Science PG College also progressed well and received appreciation from parents, academicians and students. With an intention to provide quality education post graduation programs started in various branches of science, commerce and arts.

We are proud to say that ours institution offers more number of PG courses than any other affiliated colleges under the jurisdiction of Kakatiya University.
